Friends of the Garden of Ideas was established in 2012 with the mission to promote a creative and restorative connection to the outdoor world. This mission is pursued through the cultivation of an innovative, dynamic, ecologically sound landscape at the Garden of Ideas, which is open to the public, in the heart of suburbia; through educational programming in botany, agriculture, conservation, art, and nutrition; and through programs that promote spiritual awareness and natural adventure in an outdoor setting.
