to provide an open space for anyone in the community to host events, as well as having open hours for people to drop by & peruse the extensive zine library, use the internet, or just talk & connect with other folks.  The Sovversiva collective is a community driven event & meeting space, a free 'zine lending library & more. The collective sees a vision of a better, healthier & more just world being inclusive of people of all races, genders, nationalities, sexualites, ages, class-backgrounds & spiritualities, & any event that promotes this is welcome within our doors. Our zine library is the back-bone of the space, with over 500 zines. There is a strong emphasis in the collection on zines with anti-opression & environmental justice topics, & all of our zines can be borrowed, copied, & freely distributed. Our space is a free and safe meeting space for environmental justice groups, community discussion groups, & educational events around themes of equality, social & environmental justice.
