Mission Statement: To serve the Brigham community by providing a safe, relationship driven inclusive environment in the form of a community garden. The intent is to provide a non-judgmental place for anyone to garden. There are two community gardens in our area but only members of the affiliate churches may use them. Our vision is to bring in anyone who is willing to take on the responsibility and provide a place where they can experience community, learn from others, grow organic produce that can supplement their grocery budget, enjoy friendships, old and new, and get exercise by enjoying the outdoors through a love of gardening. Supplemental produce my be contributed to the local food pantry. In looking at the questions below, I must state that we are just starting-We have the land &water, getting logo designed via high school art students, and applying for funding .University landscape design students will help us with lay-out. Flyers, websites, etc. will follow.
