to implement a Farm to School (F2S) program at the Cornwall School that continues to grow and evolve. The school's Food Service Manager has established relationships with local farmers and utilizes local produce throughout the year. The F2S group spearheads an annual Harvest Festival held at the school in October, featuring farmers and local foods prepared by the students. The past two years, community volunteers have put on a dinner before Town Meeting to raise funds for the Farm to School program. In the fall of 2013, with help from United Way Days of Caring volunteers, we were able to relocate our existing raised beds to a new, better-sited, larger garden plot where kids will really be able to fully experience gardening. It is now time to create a compost program and close the loop on our food system.
