We're organizing a DIY event.  Our purpose is to connect DIY people around energy, food, upcycling and other aspects of sustainability.  We want to connect people with innovative practices, ideas, resources, and services to advance energy, food, and economic independence and resilience. We recognize the growing interest in living more sustainably (microgrids, microfarms, repair cafes, etc) and we want to connect people around this effort.  We want to connect people from several communities, grow our core team and get the first event off the ground.  We're looking for seed funding to offset initial costs:  banner, logo, website, and signage. The team and event can be self sustaining in future years.  The core team will include members of several communities who would benefit by working together on this common, worthwhile project.
