We designed a "Life and Job Skill Development" environmental and horticultural workshop series with project-based, behavioral modification program to improve upon adult and youth education. Environmental health and gardening science spear-headed the workshops and specialty vegetable growth and nutrition guided health education. We are broadening our goal of life and job skill development to improve and increase the natural resources within the immediate vicinity of the Woodlawn section of Pawtucket, RI by establishing a pollinator garden. This area is within the one acre area of 85 Slater Street where the Safe Haven Garden Project has been established since 2007.
