to do the following: provide quality locally grown and produced agricultural products, prepared foods and crafts, all of which are to be bought, sold or bartered for the benefit of both consumer and producer; to stimulate economic growth and a greater variety of farm and home industry activities and products; to educate the public in the value of these products and activities. In an effort to promote the agricultural purpose of the market, at least a 60% agricultural/food and 40% craft ratio of products will be encouraged.
