The mission of Douglas Discovery Garden is to beautify the historic Douglas Park area, to promote educational and recreational opportunities for all ages and groups, to instill civic pride, and to celebrate our heritage. The goals of this project are to: promote gardening and provide educational gardening opportunities for individuals and families, provide a place of inspiration for people to learn how to grow their own food, and to promote gardening as it relates to healthy living.
