7th graders in science class plan to assist in a survey of a nearby area for New England Cottontail, a Maine endangered species conducted by the York County Soil and Water Conservation District. This survey is being done to provide data for Federal designation to the Federal Endangered Species List. Training will be done in January and a survey done on the earliest available date.
