The group consists of the environmental planner from NMDC, the executive director of NMDC, two landfill managers,and the director of the northern Maine regional office of the Maine Department of Environmental Protection. The purpose of the group to to plan and organize free household hazardous waste collections for anyone who lives in northern Maine.
