Our Purpose

to pass the Community Preservation Act (CPA) in Fall River. Fall River has great potential to become a more vibrant, livable, and safe community. With CPA, Fall River can realize these goals through projects that until now have been stalled due to lack of funding. Our goal is to educate Fall River citizens on what CPA is, and how it can benefit us. By highlighting potential CPA projects, such as adaptive re-use of the Abbey church, and the restoration of historic Kennedy park, designed by Fredrick Law Olmsted, we hope to motivate Fall River citizens to vote yes. Though some of our activities will include lobbying, NEGEF funds will be used only for educational materials and activities that do not prescribe citizens to "vote yes."
