Our Purpose

to provide an opportunity for people of all ages discover a lifelong appreciation for the natural world. Our goals include: 1) Promote an understanding of New England wildlife and ecosystems; 2) Encourage responsible, ethical and sustainable use of natural resources through permaculture; 3) Foster a respect of nature: 4) Educate individuals to be stewards of the environment; 5) Inspire others to take action in their homes and communities. A visitor center will offer: Interactive display areas featuring NH wildlife and bird watching area, Bird feeders and houses, butterfly and hummingbird gardens, Organic gardens designed for permaculture, Children's gardens, picnic and play areas, Live Animal enclosures for observation of NH wildlife, Small farm animal petting barn, Walking trails and private campsites, Kayaking and wildlife watching, Seasonal workshops - sustainable farming, growing mushrooms, etc.
