to educate the public, home and building owners and occupants, about ways to place additional layers of insulation on walls through the use of insulation art we are innovating. We are working with artists and engineers to develop and install energy-saving insulation in the form of large insulation panels designed as art murals (Insulation Art) to add a new layer of art insulation over the interior surface of cold exterior walls. In short: art + insulation = insulation art. Our "grow grant" purpose is to obtain funds to buy materials for prototypes for a public exhibition to educate the public and generate dialogue about expanding the use of insulation in the form of insulation art that can provide an additional layer of insulation on the interior surface of cold exterior walls and ceilings. More insulation reduces carbon emissions, and an Insulation Art gallery/exhibition show will provide outreach and education about ways to expand the use of insulation.
