to bring information and resources related to environmental sustainability to the Medford Boys & Girls Club and the Medford Community. We are running a Green Art Program, a science program for each age group which is working on the issue of sustainable energy, water, and food, and a Solar Car Creation program which is teaching the young people about alternative energy sources. We also are focusing on environmental sustainability in our 9 - 11 year old community service club, We CARE, and in our middle school Torch Club. We are planning a large Earth Day celebration for the community in association with the Tri-CAP Earth Day Coalition and the City of Medford. At this celebration we will have stations with hands-on environmental activities, a race of our Solar Cars, a display of our Green Art and a competition for the Green Art, booths by environmental groups, a recycling info station, a sustainable food station, a clean water info station, and we will be holding a park clean-up.
