Our Purpose

to support and conduct social, educational and stewardship efforts to benefit the natural environment of North Pond and Little Pond and all users thereof. Having said that, we also monitor lake clarity, maintain the dam and monitor water levels, put in and take out hazard buoys, perform invasive plant patrols, train volunteer CBIs, hold a North Pond FunFest to educate and raise lake awareness, count loons for Maine Audubon Society, members of Lake Trust, allied with Belgrade Regional Conservation Alliance, directors attend seminars and other lake associated events to keep up with what is going on in Maine on our lakes, provide a website and bi annual newsletter called North Pond News to members and non members alike, host an annual boat parade, raise funds with a returnable bottle bin, tshirt sales and hold an annual meeting and dinner for members and non members alike.
