Devens Eco-Efficiency Center
Our Purpose
The Devens Eco-Efficiency Center was created in 2007 to help commercial, industrial, and non-profit institutions located in Devens, MA, and area towns minimize environmental impacts and operate as responsible stewards of the earth’s resources.
Devens is a former military base and priority Superfund site with a goal to redevelop in a sustainable fashion, giving equal priority to economic, social and environmental needs of the community. The Center provides easy access to services designed to help over 80 small or medium sized manufacturing firms and service entities located there strengthen the sustainability of their operations.
The Eco-Efficiency Center supports its mission to help establishments protect ecological, material, human, and fiscal resources by making informing business leaders of procedures, materials and technologies they can incorporate to minimize pollution and eliminate waste and providing assistance to help implement new eco-friendly initiatives in their facility
