Our Purpose

to coordinate the efforts of all gardeners and hopeful gardeners and become a positive, powerful voice to promote community gardening in our communities. As community garden coordinators we recognized that there is a need to connect the people on our waiting lists to available garden space and for new gardens and gardeners to connect with each other for advice and sharing.

Summary of Projects

The Seacoast Community Garden Network received a grant in 2009 to design, create and market a communications platform that supports and encourages the growth and development of thriving community gardens in the Seacoast area of New Hampshire and Maine. The website will be open, interactive and self-organizing; it will evolve to serve the needs of its participants and the community garden movement.
