Our Purpose

to conduct a Natural Resource Inventory for the Town of Bradford that will help to - guide land use decisions in the Town; - to inform Bradford residents of the Natural Resources that are within the Town; - to help identify and prioritize wildlife corridors; - to help identify and prioritize land parcels worthy of protection within the Town; - to celebrate our natural heritage on Bradford's 250th Anniversary in 2015

Summary of Projects

The Energy Committee received a grant in 2009 to organize, promote and produce a 2nd annual LEAF (Local Energy Alternatives Festival) and involve local organizations and inform and educate the business communities, municipal departments and homeowners about energy efficiency and energy alternatives. A grant in 2010 was used to launch a series of films, workshops and field trips related to renewable energy that will then culminate with the 3rd annual Local Energy Alternatives Festival.

The Energy Committee of Bradford Conservation Committee received a grant in 2009 to promote and produce their second annual Local Energy Alternatives festival.
