The group received a grant in 2009 to improve water quality in our watershed, Englesby Brook, by reducing our stormwater runoff. NEGEF funds will be sued to purchase supplies for do-it-yourself rain barrels to be assembled and used by residents. This project is part of a comprehensive a storm water plan being developed for an integrated set of stormwater retrofits.
