Boxborough Energy Committee received a grant in 2009 to hire a programmer to finish the development of the website and to fund expenses for hosting and the domain name; to expand community outreach by informing residents of resources through the website; to advocate for conservation through the website by lending home energy monitors, and organizing/publicizing community events focused on energy efficiency and the environment.
