The purpose of the Bradford Conservation Commission is to preserve the Town's natural resources, to inform and educate the public about the values of those resources, to manage and improve our Town Forest and to foster a love and understanding of our natural world through access, experience and education.  The Conservation Commission also works with the Tree Warden to roadside trees and to acquire and plant new street trees. Bradford's Green Up Day is coordinated by the Conservation Commission.Energy Efficiency and Climate Change are two other areas of concern and action that are undertaken by the Conservation Commission, which conducted a street light inventory that led to installation of LED street lights;  which conducted an energy audit for the municipal building, which led to several energy-saving projects in the structure.  The Conservation Commission has also sponsored several Button Up workshops.
