Our Purpose

The Burrillville Land Trust (BLT) is an all volunteer, non-profit, 501(c)(3), private land trust in the Town of Burrillville. We own about 300 acres of land. Our mission is to preserve and protect the rural character of the Town of Burrillvile through acquisition, education and advocacy. We are a community based land trust that serves our community as well as the wider community of Rhode Island and the region. The Natural Dye Workshop is an attempt to bring adults and children from the urban core to the woods to learn about using nature to dye cloth, and help become advocates for land preservation.
