WNRCD received a grant in 2009 to develop a Local Growers Guide for Washington County (VT) to raise awareness about local food sources and link customers to local growers. The guide provides users with a comprehensive listing of produce, meat, and other farm and forest products grown and produced in Washington County thereby supporting the local economy and reducing emissions association with transport of food.
