Our Purpose

(1) to stop a proposed granite hill removal, blasting and commercial aggregate production adjacent to the Ammonoosuc aquifer; (2) to initiate a process whereby Littleton can have rational discussion of land use and development.

Summary of Projects

The group received a second grant in 2011 to help with legal fees to contest a proposed major blasting and excavation project in Littleton, NH.

Littleton Endangered Resources Group received a grant in 2010 to fund legal fees in their effort to oppose the granite hill removal, blasting and commercial aggregate production adjacent to the Ammonoosuc aquifer. LERG's primary concern is the proposed use of 150,000 gallons of ammonium nitrate used in the blasting process.
