To build a stronger, connected food system in Southern Maine centered around a state-of-the-art Food Security Hub, which would expand cold and dry storage capabilities in the county, increasing the capacity and efficiency of local food assistance programs. The Hub would work with local food producers to encourage food rescue at scale, and promote regional collaboration to end food insecurity in the region.
