to organize and build a community garden for/with our Y ASPIRE (school-age child care program) parents, most of whom receive income based state child care financial assistance, and for whom access to fresh vegetables is a challenge physically and financially. We want to help build community cooperation and empower the families to improve their diets, and make positive changes in their lives.
