The purpose of WOW is to model sustainable living in a community deprived of the resources to do such. WOW delivers relevant, accessible, and intercative, community programming including agriculture workshops, guided meditations, and arts and culture events; provides meeting and event space for community partners; and, overall, offers a growing and healing space, where people are safe and encouraged to develop a sense sense of self, as well as critical thinking skills, and emotional/social literacy via their engagement with WOW. WOW started a community garden in 2018, and aims to have enough support for this program to be one of the main pillars of the organization.
