Womb of the Wild
Our Purpose
We are a QTBIPOC & AAPI led grassroots movement, land-based regenerative skills learning center, farm and healing sanctuary. We are a sanctuary rooted in nature, culture, healing, and land sovereignty. Our Elder Satyena Ananda has been stewarding the lands for the past 35 years, its our mission to continue her legacy and expand it. Our 5 year plan is to revitalize the farm (we are in a food desert), restore current structures for affordable housing and create classes + workshops to provide land-based learning skills. We will be teaching skills such as farming, wild-crafting, wilderness, basket-weaving, carpentry and more! Along with providing artist + healer residencies, and ancestral healing cultural programs. We want to provide the most vulnerable populations (Disabled, QTBIPOC and Youth) with these skills we will need for whats to come in this current fascist climate. To be in right relationship with the land, build reciprocity with one another, through healing, skills and wisdom sharing, as we seed the world we seek.
