Our Purpose

The Winnisquam Watershed Network (WWN) was launched in July 2017 with a mission to preserve and protect Lake Winnisquam for future generations. Although a relatively young organization, the WWN has rapidly gained traction and is fostering cooperation, collaboration and communications among stakeholders in the Winnisquam watershed. It is an all-volunteer lake association with nearly 200 members, 15 dedicated board members providing a variety of expertise, and an extensive volunteer corps. The WWN’s programs are aimed at water quality monitoring, management and prevention of invasive aquatic species, and public education and advocacy.
