Summary of Projects

Willimantic Wildlife Habitat Committee received a grant in 2010 to purchase habitat and demonstration site materials as well as cover general printing, signage, and design costs associated with the campaign. WWHC is an ad hoc volunteer group that formed out of the Garden Club of Windham in order to certify Willimantic as a NWF Community Wildlife Habitat. The group works in the community to provide native habitat, educate the community about environmental issues and reconnect families to nature throughout the community.
