We formed West River Valley 100% Renewable in response to the climate crisis. We felt it was critically important that we take local, concrete action to increase our area's climate resiliency and contribute to Vermont's overall efforts to transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy. We are passionate about this work and deeply committed to this work.Our mission is to be the catalyst for de-carbonizing the 7 towns in Vermont's West River Valley (southeastern Vermont) and enabling them to meet 100% of their transportation, heating and cooling, and electrical needs through renewable sources by 2030.
