Summary of Projects

Water 1st!'s first steps were focused on the communities of Randolph, East Randolph and Randolph Center. The group has since expanded its geographical range to provide opportunities for and engage people from towns throughout the White River Basin. The group received a grant in 2005 to conduct a series of workshops and public outreach efforts in order to increase public awareness of the need to protect and enhance fresh water supply and quality, to respond to growth and commercial operations, and to encourage water resource preservation measures at the local and state level.
