to prevent the taking of Ward Park land for the construction of municipal buildings; to ensure all existing Ward Park land remains in use for intended purpose of youth development; to promote the overall improvement and beautification of Ward Park and the surrounding area.; to maintain an open line of communication between the neighborhood, other neighborhoods, and government agencies; to provide open process by which all members of neighborhood may involve themselves in the affairs of the neighborhood.
