Voices of the Community (VTC) was formed to amplify the voices of systemically excluded populations, particularly in addressing food justice, environmental inequities, and community well-being. Our overarching goal is to create sustainable, community-driven solutions that ensure equitable access to nutritious food, safe green spaces, and a healthier environment for all.We recognize that food and environmental justice are deeply interconnected. Many residents in our community face food insecurity, limited access to fresh produce, and environmental hazards that impact their health. Through grassroots organizing, resident advocacy, and collaborative programming, we empower those most affected to lead solutions.This project aligns with our mission by fostering hands-on community engagement, supporting food distribution efforts, and advocating for policies that address systemic barriers to food and environmental justice. We believe that every person deserves access to fresh food, clean air, and safe spaces. Our work centers on making that a reality.
