Victor Grange strives to live by its Mission Statement that  “the Grange strengthens individuals, families and communities through grassroots action, service, education, advocacy …” Located in Fairfield, we have a high percentage of elderly living in our community and for the past 17 years the Grange has provided opportunities for social events and educational programs for all local senior citizens.   The current focus by members is to make our Grange Hall more energy efficient which will allow us to expanding its services for a more comprehensive Senior Resource Center. We want to hold classes and programs to help seniors live a healthier lifestyle, remain in their homes longer, and increase social  interaction and well-being  without going out of town for services.We have also held Window Dressers Community Workshops for the last 3 years, building over 700 inserts assisting 67 local homes save fuel and money. We feel that there continues to be a significant need for this energy saving program in our community for both our senior citizens and low income families. Improvements to our hall will allow us to continue this program.  Inserts in the Grange’s own 41 windows would help our building efficiency while also allowing us to continue the Window Dressers’ program with a working model of the product.
