Our Purpose

to educate and inspire individuals and communities to respect biodiversity, conserve dynamic ecosystems, and live sustainably. Through hands-on learning, our goal is to show children and the community at large that Vermont’s flora, fauna, and ecosystems are an integral part of our existence. We hope to partner with local elementary schools (such as Cambridge Elementary) to provide classroom and field education on local ecosystems and how to best conserve them. The Center is located on 46 acres just a mile outside of downtown Jeffersonville, VT, offering a network of nature trails, pond and wetlands exploration, and a community garden for hands-on learning opportunities.
