Vermont Affordable Housing Coalition with fiscal agent Addison County Community Trust
Our Purpose
The Vermont Affordable Housing Coalition (VACH) is a statewide membership organization dedicated to ensuring that all Vermonters have decent, safe and affordable housing, particularly the state's low- and moderate-income residents, elders, and people with disabilities. The Coalition's 80-plus organizational members represent non-profit housing developers, community land trusts, homeless shelters, public housing agencies, resident associations, community action agencies, regional planners, and housing, disability and tenant rights advocates. Together, they provide housing and services to tens of thousands of low-income Vermonters. The Addison County Community Trust, a member of the VAHC, works to provide low-income affordable housing to the low- and middle-income residents of Addison County by managing non-profit mobile home parks, developing new affordable rental opportunities, and providing 20% down payment grants.
