Unity Tower Community Garden received a grant in 2009 to improve the garden while fostering a sense of community for gardeners by: buying chairs for the patio, installing window boxes and planters filled with annual plants, paving the area around the shed with patio stones, and buying needed maintenance supplies.

Our Purpose
to cultivate a 16-plot garden tended primarily by low-income and elderly Asian gardeners from the Boston Housing Authority-owned Unity Tower.
