TNAC's overarching objective is to promote sound environmental stewardship & enhance community life through participation in collaborative nature & art experiences. TNAC is located in Trumbull but its programming is open to neighboring communities like Bridgeport (one of the poorest cities in the state), Stratford (home to two Superfund sites), and Shelton (in the midst of redeveloping its former industrial buildings) and many others. TNAC strives to share the beauty and inspiration of the natural world, the importance of maintaining healthy ecosystems, as well as the right to access and power to protect our natural environment with stewards everywhere.
