We are forming a movement at our school to incorporate our greenhouse and garden initiative as phase one of a larger initiative to get an outdoor classroom built.  We want to provide a different type of education to our students who otherwise would not have access due to their economic situation.  Many of the outdoor education programs are expensive and therefore are out of reach for many children.  We hope to provide that kind of education every day at our public school and think we could provide ideas and a different take on outdoor education to the other teams at the institute.  The Farm to School initiative can be taken even further encompassing a whole outdoor curriculum and back to nature movement that is only going to provide our kids with a better and more well rounded education.
