Our purpose is to...assist the local residents in living where sustainability its a top priority.the Town of Southborough is a small rural community of approximately 10000 residents with housing numbering around 4000. We share in the vision of leaving a community in better shape then how we got and believe that anything we can do to assist in the vision "of a better tomorrow", starts at home. We are always seeking ways and opportunities to engage the community into taking procative approach to leaving nothing behind. Any opportunity to capture and recycle material what other wise would be dumped in places that would injure or pollute the earth is the driving force of why the worker chose to work and educate the public on sustainable resources. Asking for a storage container is vital to capturing the waste. Each year on Earth Day, the team kick off a public outreach in ways in which to better leave the plant. With the ability of being the central location to dispose the public waste for the residents they are afforded the opportunity to convey a positive message that will be heard and convey the whole one town 1 team approach. When it comes to a healthier community the whol is only as good as its part. This request is only a "part" that we feel we can resolve in our mission of a healthy planet for all. We seek all opportunities to aide our citizens in being the face of a better tomorrow. We feel "Grass roots"would be a great partner.
