Our purpose is to... develop an environmentally and economically enhancing agroforestry eco-system, building resiliency through biodiversity, to provide for our family and community, while implementing and establishing opportunities and educational resources for people of our neighborhood and beyond. It is not just about the end goal, but also about how you get there. The approaches we choose and the context we set with our design decisions are just as important as the end product, Focusing on redistribution of surplus & self-regulation of consumption and growth. A reminder that surplus is not always a physical object, it can be knowledge and energy.I have created and operated a small CSA for 4 years. We have purchased our land and I have registered my llc and my DBAs and now it is time for me to grow my systems so that I may provide a sustainable food system through agroforestry while offering teaching and educational opporunities to students in my community. By creating a model system of outter ecosystem stewardship paired with self stewardship skills I know the impacts from this will trickle for generations as we regain Utilizing ancient growing methods and techniques.We use no irrigation and no till grow system co stewarded by livestock. How? Hugelkultur, alley cropping, etc.
