Our purpose is to provide Thanksgiving meals and a care package for individuals who are food insecure. My goal is to serve and bring hope to my community by providing meals on thanksgiving due to my lived experience.  Areliz O Barbosa has been coordinating Thanksgiving outreach events for the past 20 years from my home. The first year started with 34 plates and has grown to serve over 200 thanksgiving meals. Our goal is to support in-reach and outreach efforts to address transportation barriers.  Over the years my dream to serve has grown and started to collaborate with other community members. I am asking for the support of this grant in order not only to continue to grow and support this need within my community but to also incorporate care bags. The care bags will have toiletry items and socks, gloves, hats, etc.   Thank you in advance for considering
