Our goal is to contribute to a Just Transition as revolutionary organizers, cooperative economics developers, trainers, and hosts for movement strategy and training. We are deeply involved in the Just Transition in Vermont, having proposed and organized both the Just Construction and the Regeneration Corps partnerships for the Just Transition movement here. We are organizing with People of Color to help POC agriculturalists and organizers move to Vermont, both to help us organize the Just Transition, and to share access to a favorable climate future in VT more equitably with hard working cultivators of social movements. Just Construction is a partnership of Every Town, The CGO (us), The Susu CommUNITY Farm, Circle Mountain Farm, and New Frameworks Design/Build, and builds buildings for free for POC Just Transition Movement leaders in VT, as well as projects in Mississippi and Louisiana, stemming from our prototype trip to Standing Rock in 2016. Regeneration Corps is in 3 highschools and negotiating with 7 more, providing experiential learning opportunities based in regenerative ag to explore and skill up at the intersections of racial justice, agroecology, and climate change.
