Our purpose is to...create a healthier, cleaner and greener environment for the Town of Tewksbury.  We sponsor bi-annual Town Clean Up events, and most recently were successful in implementing a plastic bag ban. Through community outreach, we strive to educate residents on the importance of recycling, composting, and maintaining their properties, both residential and commercial.  In addition, we have a thriving "Adopt an Island" program, as well as utility swtichboxes being painted by local artists to improve the gateways and esthetics of our town.  We collaborate with other town committees to take on larger scale projects such as creating public trails and outdoor recreational space, and maintaining/cleaning waterways and raingardens.We are a committee of the town, however municipalities do qualify as non-profits for the purpose of monies for programming that directly benefit the public. We can provide the Tax ID of the town if needed.
