Our purpose is to sustain a free and accessible garden where Pawtucket residents of all ages can learn about gardening, participate in gardening and enjoy free vegetables.  The goal of the Taft Street Community Garden is to be radically accessible, therefore we strive to remove barriers associated with cost, scheduling, paperwork, time commitment, language, culture, and gardening experience. Through planning for "drop in gardening", all who visit the Taft Street Garden become successful gardeners.
