Our mission is to enhance the capacity of sustainability champions who are versed in the practices of vision, systems thinking, reflective conversation, and creative expression. Through engagement of our Donella Meadows Leadership Fellows Network, young leaders, aspiring farmers, and artists for sustainability, we build leadership capacity in people who are creating inspiring solutions for social and environmental challenges. By communicating what's working and building on successes, we aim to motivate more people to join the sustainability movement and, in turn, increase and reinforce momentum for a better future. More specifically for the purposes of the NEGEF community, the above mission focuses on our Donella Meadows Leadership Fellows in New England, 15 well-positioned, young- and mid-career sustainability professionals working at the local, state, and regional levels in the nonprofit, business, and government sectors.
