Our mission is to build a sustainable food system in Hartford that serves as a community resource. We do this by directly transforming vacant lots into productive food sources and by training the next generation of food justice activists in the Urban Farming Internship. We understand that social, economic, environmental, and health challenges are all intricately connected. We work at the intersection of these issues. In order to adequately address the challenges we face, we added public anti-racism trainings to our work in 2019.
