to host an outdoor farmers' market whose motto is "preserving the tradition of locally grown and crafted". We are not only working to provide a venue for our vendors, but to educate the community in the benefits of locally grown and crafted goods. Every product sold at the market must be produced on the vendors' property or handcrafted by the seller. All vendors must be from Vermont, preferably the central Vermont area, to keep the items as local as possible. The product must be represented at the market by the maker/grower or an employee who is actively involved in its production. This way our customers can have all their questions answered by someone who is completely familiar with the entire process which preceded presenting the final product for sale. We also strive to make this entire experience as pleasant as possible for our customers, so that the whole experience is memorable. We do this by having an attractive open space and providing weekly entertainment.
