Our purpose is to provide charitable services as a housing based program that integrates the arts, sciences, trade labor skills, education and active community integration and service for the betterment and upliftment of the community where each residency functions. Outside of the intial function to create viable space for all activities and projects to be managed and implemeted we are at our core an artist led group. We are women, mothers and artists in the community that are looking for ways to make the presence of mothers and children more prominent and more accesible in workspaces, music spaces, event spaces and anywhere where families need some attention and care to better function in the community. Some of our projects include creating kid zones at networking events that enable mothers to attend and not have to sacrafice time with their children or hustle to find a babysitter especially if they are a start up business, a single parent or both! Another project we are developing is paid education/arts/music workshops in places like the DHS, healthcare agencies serving families regularly and group shelters where music and art programs are scarce. We begin our mission witihin the housing hemisphere because we as families and single parents in the arts, fields of entrpreneurship and with our children in the arts have the most difficult time finding affordable housing and support in living spaces as a part of a larger community of mothers/families and women.See attachment.
